Add your proxies
Register your proxies in the MinecraftAFK dashboard, then assign each one to an account so it connects to servers through its own IP address.
Before you can use a proxy with an account, you need to add it to your dashboard. The web client supports per-account proxy assignment; the local client uses the same proxy for every connection.
Get a proxy
We recommend SOCKS5 proxies from a private datacenter provider. Avoid free public proxies - they're slow, unreliable, and frequently blocked.
When exporting from your provider, choose SOCKS5, not HTTP. HTTP proxies are supported but discouraged for Minecraft.
Add it to the dashboard
- Go to the Proxies page.
- Paste in the proxy details (host, port, optional username/password).
- Save.
Assign to an account
- Open the Accounts page.
- Click the 🛜 (signal) button next to the account you want to use the proxy.
- Pick the proxy from the list.
That account will now connect through the assigned proxy. See Using proxies for more details.
If we provide you a proxy directly (e.g. for Minehut), do not add it to your proxy list - it's tied to your account differently.
