FAQ
How to play on Minehut
Bypass Minehut's first-join CAPTCHA so your MinecraftAFK accounts can connect. Clear the CAPTCHA on a quality proxy in regular Minecraft, then assign it.
Minehut requires you to complete a CAPTCHA the first time an IP joins. To get past it, the proxy you'll use needs to clear the CAPTCHA from regular Minecraft first, and only then be assigned to an AFK account.
If you want to handle it yourself
- Get a proxy. We recommend Geonix - 100 proxies and 250GB of bandwidth. Free public proxies can work but are unstable. See What is a proxy.
- Connect to the proxy. The easiest way is a client like Meteor which has a proxy feature built in. (We only recommend Meteor's proxy system, not its other features.) You can also use Windows proxy settings or a tool like ProxyCap.
- Solve the CAPTCHA. Connect to Minehut through the proxy and complete the CAPTCHA. Close Minecraft and disconnect from the proxy.
- Add the proxy to MinecraftAFK. Go to the Proxies page, add the proxy, then assign it to your account with the 🛜 button on the Accounts page.
- Connect. Your account should now bypass the CAPTCHA and stay online.
If you want us to handle it
- Open a support ticket in our Discord and tell us you want to play on Minehut. We'll send you a proxy.
- Connect to the proxy using one of the methods above (Meteor, Windows settings, ProxyCap).
- Solve the CAPTCHA through Minecraft, then disconnect from the proxy.
- Connect the account to Minehut. It should now work.
The proxy we provide should not be added to your proxy list - it's tied to your account differently.
