Can I AFK with my computer turned off?
Only with the web client. It runs on our servers, so accounts keep connecting even when your computer or phone is off.
The local client is a regular desktop application - when you close or shut down your computer, the program closes and every account logs out.
Why use the web client
- Accounts stay online 24/7 regardless of what your devices are doing.
- Manage everything from your phone or any browser.
- No electricity cost or wear on your own hardware.
- Always updated to the latest Minecraft version.

What "online" actually means with the web client
Because the web client runs on our servers, your accounts stay connected through anything that would knock out a home setup: a shut-down PC, a sleeping laptop, a power cut, a router reboot, or your phone going to sleep. You only need a device and a browser when you want to change something - starting, stopping, and reconfiguring all happen remotely.
The local client has no such separation: it is the session, so closing it logs every account out.
