FAQ

Does MinecraftAFK support Bedrock?

How MinecraftAFK handles Minecraft Bedrock Edition accounts. Add Bedrock and Java accounts from the same dashboard and connect to cross-play servers.

Yes. MinecraftAFK supports both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition Minecraft accounts.

Adding accounts

Bedrock accounts authenticate through Microsoft - the same OAuth flow as Java. Your password stays with Microsoft; we only receive a short-lived auth token. Once added, Bedrock accounts appear in the dashboard alongside any Java accounts and can be connected to compatible servers.

Which servers work with Bedrock

  • Bedrock-only servers that allow standard client logins.
  • Cross-play servers running Geyser, GeyserMC, or similar Java ↔ Bedrock bridges.

Not sure whether a server supports Bedrock? Check it with our Minecraft server ping tool.

Differences from Java

Bedrock and Java are separate Minecraft editions with different network protocols and version numbering. The dashboard handles edition-specific behavior automatically, so you don't need to configure anything differently per edition. Most features - anti-AFK, auto-reconnect, chat, automated commands - work the same on both, with the small protocol-level differences abstracted away by the client.

For account setup details that apply to both editions, see Add your accounts.
